Around the house

I just recently upgraded from my Canon Rebel Xt to the Canon 40D. The Rebel was having some issues recently and I've had my eye on the 40D for a while. Between being sick and being busy with work, I haven't had much time to play with the new camera. But I took some shots around my parents' backyard/garage today. Feels good to be back behind the camera.

Magazine photos

Wow, it's been a really long time since I've posted. Things have been pretty hectic these days so I haven't been able to do much (ok, any) photography lately. Here are a few photos I did for a magazine a couple months ago but never got around to posting. Can't wait for things to settle down so I can do some shoots! :)

Stanford Dish at Sunset

Last weekend, I went up to the Stanford Dish for the first time. We timed our trip to be right around sunset so we had some amazingly beautiful light.

Couples photo shoot

Things have been hectic these days between work and apps. But I had the chance to do a fun photo shoot of S & D last weekend. The two are really fun, silly, and cute -- it was great! :)

S & D (thanks for the correction!) baked some amazing cookies and brought them to the shoot :)

Photo shoot for department magazine

Ah, haven't done a photo shoot for a while! It was nice to get behind the camera again. And even easier because N was super easy to work with! This photo shoot was different from other ones I've done because I knew going into the shoot that the photos would need to fit into a certain layout with text. Let me know what you think. :)

My first wedding

A few weekends ago, I shot my first wedding! It was a smaller and more informal event but very nice and meaningful nonetheless. I have to admit, shooting weddings is pretty stressful. :) To say the least, this was a great learning experience!

A group of young skater boys were walking by and the bride and groom wanted a photo with one of them. The boy was really shy actually!
