G & K Wedding Photos

Last month, I shot my good friends G & K's wedding.  This was my second wedding and I'm still learning lots about event/wedding photography.  While I do prefer photo shoots since I like being able to control and create the scene (and it's much less stressful :P), it's nice to capture special candid moments.  This post is a little longer than usual since I couldn't narrow down.  :)

During the rehearsal, the main doors were not open during the processional.  So when the doors opened during the wedding, I was hit with a huge amount of glare.  This photo was unintentional, but I like how it came out.  And you can see my fellow photographer on the left.  :)

Though lighting was a challenge, the church was a gorgeous site for the wedding.

Black & White Photography Class

I finally got around to scanning these black and white photos I took for a class last year.  Shooting with film is definitely a different experience, to say the least.  I do prefer digital over film due to convenience and cost.  But there is something special about working with film and working in the darkroom.

This one required some involved darkroom work.  Gave me new appreciation of digital post-processing!
